Privacy & Use of Data Policy

Updated October 22, 2026. This policy describes how OFCollabMap (ofcollabmap.com) handles information for its creator directory, accounts, communications, checkout and related services. Contact: ofcollab@gmail.com.

1. Information we collect and its sources

2. How we use information

We use information to operate accounts and the map, generate and review profiles, deliver messages and requests, match saved Radar criteria, process verified payments and bookings, fulfill orders, provide support, measure site and offer activity, diagnose bugs, prevent abuse and investigate security incidents. Administrators may receive submission details and profile/social links by email to review and approve or decline a profile. Restricted approval links are intended only for the recipient and should not be forwarded.

Administrative automation may review relevant code, logs and support correspondence to maintain the site and answer routine questions. Exceptions such as refunds, disputes or uncertain payment status are referred for human review. Security monitoring is not a guarantee that every incident will be detected.

3. Profile visibility, location and content use

Profile information designated for directory display may be visible to visitors or other members, depending on the feature and current access controls. Public directory copies, photos and social links may also have been shared or cached elsewhere. Do not assume that submitting a profile makes its name, photo, bio or social accounts confidential. A paid feature, blurred image, hidden link or disabled copy control cannot prevent screenshots, identification or reverse-image searches.

Use a nearby city or general area instead of a home address. Map coordinates and city/state fields support discovery; do not treat map placement as a promise of exact location protection. Do not put private addresses, confidential information or another person's information in your bio.

You retain ownership of your submitted content. You permit OFCollabMap to host, format and display directory content for discovery and operation of the services you use. This permission does not make private messages or private account records public promotional material. Separate AI persona, likeness or promotional projects may have additional terms and permissions; a profile submission alone is not consent to impersonate you or claim you personally sent an advertisement.

4. Messages, notifications and checkout follow-ups

Message and collaboration-request content is handled for delivery, access control, moderation and support. It is not described as end-to-end encrypted. Inbox counts or notification indicators can appear even when opening the underlying content requires access. If you accept a request, contact information supplied for that collaboration may be disclosed to the other participant.

Enabled email or browser notifications and Radar alerts use your account contact information, browser push subscription and saved matching preferences. Depending on your device settings, notifications may appear on a lock screen or in a shared mailbox. Change available notification settings in your account or revoke browser notification permission.

If you begin checkout and provide an email, we may use the checkout status to send up to two reminders, normally after about one hour and 24 hours, and notify the administrator of an incomplete checkout. Completed payments are checked before reminders. Reply STOP to stop checkout reminders; a genuine support reply also pauses further reminders for that email. Routine replies may be prepared and sent by an automated assistant using approved service information, with exceptions escalated to the administrator. Opting out of reminders does not prevent essential receipts, security or account notices.

Advertisements and event promotions should be understood as promotional content, not proof that a featured creator personally contacted you, accepted a request or will attend an event.

5. Service providers and disclosures

Information is processed by providers needed for the relevant feature, including Google/Firebase for authentication, hosting, storage and operational services; Stripe for checkout, subscriptions and connected payouts where enabled; Resend and Gmail for email delivery and support; and Printful for applicable merchandise fulfillment. Map, media, sign-in, embedded content, analytics and advertising providers may receive technical information when their resources load. Followed social, sponsor and event links are governed by the destination's own policies.

Participants and venue managers receive information needed for the messages, requests or bookings involving them. Administrators access relevant information for operations, moderation, payments, support and security. We may disclose information when required by applicable law or necessary to address fraud, safety, disputes or protection of the service. Provider processing may take place in countries other than your own. We do not promise that public directory information will remain confined to this website.

6. Browser storage and third-party resources

The site uses cookies or browser storage for sign-in, profile drafts, visitor identifiers, preferences, activity throttling and related functions. Clearing storage may remove drafts or sign you out. Third-party resources can receive IP addresses and request information. You can control storage and notifications through your browser; some features may stop working. This policy is not a substitute for any separate consent mechanism required for a particular tracking feature.

7. Retention and security

Retention depends on the record and its purpose. Active account/profile records support the service; transaction, consent, moderation, opt-out and support records may remain where needed for accounting, disputes, abuse prevention or applicable legal requirements. Copies in backups, logs, caches or third-party systems may not disappear immediately when a profile is removed. We do not promise a fixed deletion period for every system or deletion of records that must be retained.

We use authentication, access controls and protected service credentials where implemented. No system is completely secure. Do not email passwords, API keys, full payment-card numbers or identity documents unless a separately verified, appropriate process is provided. Stripe handles payment-card entry; access or order confirmation depends on verified payment status.

Account-deletion form: Members may request deletion of their own account after signing in. Imported listings must first be claimed by the matching verified owner before using that form. It does not accept requests to delete another person’s account. Separate requests to exercise applicable privacy rights may still be sent by email, including where an account cannot be accessed or a listing cannot be claimed.

8. Access, corrections, removal and privacy requests

Edit available profile fields and notification preferences in your account. For access, correction, deletion, imported-listing removal, an objection to a data use or a request about rights under applicable privacy law, email ofcollab@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request” and enough information to identify the account or listing. We may verify ownership before changing or disclosing records. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information. Requests are reviewed subject to applicable law and necessary record retention; removal from this site cannot erase copies independently held by others. Where applicable, you may also contact your local data-protection authority.

Profile removal and deletion requests. You may request removal of a profile from the map by emailing ofcollab@gmail.com. Include the OFCollabMap profile link or social handle, enough information to identify your connection to the profile, and the reason for your request. A reason helps us review discretionary requests; it is not a condition for exercising a privacy right where applicable law does not require one. We may request reasonable verification without requiring unnecessary sensitive information.

A profile-removal request may be granted or rejected after review, subject to applicable law. If map removal is granted, the profile will be removed from public map display. Removal from the map is different from deletion of database records: the profile and related data may remain in our database only to the extent and for as long as lawful and necessary for the purposes described in this policy, such as maintaining a removal or opt-out record, preventing re-import, security, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention alone does not authorize continued public display or use contrary to an applicable deletion, restriction or opt-out request. When required by law, we will explain a denial and the basis for retaining records.

Database rights. OFCollabMap considers its database structure, original compilation, and original platform-created materials proprietary to ofcollabmap.com to the extent protected by law. This does not transfer ownership of your submitted content or grant ownership of your personal information, and it does not override applicable privacy, deletion, correction or other legal rights.

Platform discretion. Subject to applicable law, OFCollabMap may hide, suspend or remove any profile for any reason or no stated reason. Profile publication and continued map visibility are not guaranteed. A discretionary removal decision does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

9. Adults only and policy changes

The service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. Report suspected underage accounts or unauthorized use of your information to ofcollab@gmail.com. We may update this policy and will identify the revision date here. Material new uses requiring notice or consent will require the applicable notice or consent; this policy does not convert continued browsing into blanket consent to every future use.

Studio-specific details are described in Studio Privacy. Other service terms apply to the features you choose.
